Some users may want to manually add a cash position, either to a manual account (cash positions are automatically imported if you are using our automatic brokerage feature), or because some of their portfolio balances are off due to margin. At the time of this writing, there is no functionality built into The Dividend Tracker to add a cash position.

As a workaround, we've created a fake ticker symbol (TDTCASH.US), which is equal to $1 USD.

Say you want to increase your portfolio balance by $200. We recommend adding 200 shares of TDTCASH.US to artificially increase your portfolio balance.
